About Chilliwack

Chilliwack is in the Fraser Valley east of Abbotsford, between the Fraser River and the Cascade and Coast mountains. It is an agricultural and service city with a historic downtown and newer neighbourhoods toward the Vedder River. Canadian Forces Base Chilliwack’s former site and surrounding farms still shape the valley floor. About 93,000 people live in Chilliwack.
