Innisfil is a town in Simcoe County on the south shore of Lake Simcoe, immediately south of Barrie. Alcona is the main lakeside community; Lefroy, Belle Ewart, Cookstown, and Stroud sit among farms and new subdivisions. Friday Harbour and a long municipal beach shape the waterfront.
