About Kawartha Lakes

Kawartha Lakes is a single-tier city in Ontario covering the former Victoria County, a large rural territory of lakes, farms, and villages. Lindsay is the main urban centre; Fenelon Falls, Bobcaygeon, and many shoreline hamlets sit on the Trent–Severn Waterway. Despite the “city” legal name, most of the municipality is countryside. About 79,000 people live in Kawartha Lakes.
