King Township is a rural municipality in York Region, Ontario, on the Oak Ridges Moraine north of Vaughan and west of Newmarket. Villages such as King City, Nobleton, and Schomberg sit among farms, estate lots, and conservation lands rather than forming a continuous city. Highway 400 cuts through the west side. About 27,000 people live in King Township.
