Langford is a city on Greater Victoria’s West Shore, inland from Esquimalt Harbour at the foot of the Sooke Hills. It has grown rapidly from a rural crossroads into a suburban municipality of new town centres, big-box retail, and hillside housing. Goldstream’s canyon and Bear Mountain sit on the city’s edge. About 47,000 people live in Langford.
