About LaSalle

LaSalle is a town in Essex County on the Detroit River, immediately south of Windsor—not the Montréal borough of the same name. It grew from Petite Côte and Sandwich West river lots into a suburban town of shoreline parks, the River Canard, and inland neighbourhoods. Fighting Island lies in the river off the town’s west shore. About 33,000 people live in LaSalle.
