Mascouche is a suburban city in Lanaudière on Montréal’s North Shore, along the rivière Mascouche and Autoroute 25. It grew from a seigneurial parish into a commuter municipality of new neighbourhoods, sports parks, and a remaining village core. Exo’s Terrebonne–Mascouche train and Highway 640 tie it to the island. About 51,000 people live in Mascouche.
