Saanich is the most populous municipality in Greater Victoria, on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island. It is a largely residential district wrapping around the City of Victoria, from urban neighbourhoods to farms and rocky coastline. The University of Victoria campus sits on its eastern side.
