Severn is a township in Simcoe County, Ontario, along the Trent–Severn Waterway between Orillia and Georgian Bay approaches, including communities such as Coldwater, Washago, and Port Severn area edges. Locks, lakes, and rural hamlets define a waterway township rather than a single city. Highway 11 and 400 corridor traffic skirts the area. About 14,000 people live in Severn.
