Three Rivers is a town in Kings County, Prince Edward Island, formed by amalgamating Montague, Georgetown, Brudenell, Cardigan, Lower Montague, Valleyfield, and Lorne Valley—not Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Montague is the main service centre; Georgetown remains a historic port on the Cardigan River system. About 8,000 people live in Three Rivers.
