About West Vancouver

West Vancouver is a district municipality on Burrard Inlet’s North Shore, west of the City of North Vancouver, not a city in its own right. It climbs from Ambleside and Dundarave beaches into Cypress Mountain and the Howe Sound lookouts at Horseshoe Bay. Park Royal, the Seawalk, and some of the region’s most expensive hillside neighbourhoods define the district. About 44,000 people live in West Vancouver.
