About Whistler

Whistler is a district municipality in British Columbia’s Coast Mountains, about 120 km north of Vancouver along the Sea-to-Sky Highway. It is not a city: the resort village, Blackcomb and Whistler mountains, and surrounding neighbourhoods form a mountain community built around skiing, biking, and year-round tourism. About 14,000 people live in Whistler.
